Eagles Nest Golf Club
EAGLES NEST GOLF CLUB
Eagles Nest Golf Club is an award-winning public golf course located in the beautiful Village of Maple, ON and located within the City of Vaughan. This spectacular golf course has been named one of the best courses in Canada, along with many additional accolades over the last 18 years. Eagles Nest is known for its incredible layout designed by Canadian Golf Course Architect, Doug Carrick with the perfect blend of rugged sand dunes, sod wall bunkers, fescue grasses and fickle breezes.
The Eagles Nest Golf Club included lands formerly known as the Honey Pot Ski Centre as well as two large sand and gravel pits and a 40-acre farm. Eagles Nest has come a long way from where it was to be recognized as the world renowned course it is today. The Clubhouse is also home to two fantastic restaurants, multiple corporate meeting spaces, and a grand banquet hall for any of life’s special occasions. In 2015 and 2017 two new standalone buildings were added to the golf course which includes Pure Platinum Auto Spa, an executive car detailing service, and the Titleist National Fitting Centre which is also home to Henry Brunton Golf.

Turnberry Golf Club
TURNBERRY GOLF CLUB
Turnberry Golf Club was established in 2009 and designed by renowned Canadian Golf Course Architects, Doug Carrick & Cam Tyers. This public championship executive course was crafted from an old aggregate quarry in the great city of Brampton, ON. Carrick & Tyers captured the characteristics of classic links courses in Scotland and Ireland with undulating topography, thick vegetation, exceptional green contours, and strategic bunker & water placement. Turnberry provides a true challenge for any caliber of golfer.

Chelsea Maple Station Community
CHELSEA MAPLE STATION COMMUNITY
Just a short trip west of Eagles Nest and in the heart of the village of Maple is the recently completed Chelsea Maple Station Community developed by York Major. Chelsea Maple Station is a 20-acre master planned community located next to the Maple GO Station and consisting of 236 townhomes, 5 residential mixed-use apartment buildings with 692 residential 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units with approximately 1768m2 (19,030ft2) of retail uses at grade. This master planned community is focused along the north and south sides of Eagle Rock way forming a new created “main street” with large wide sidewalks, passive seating areas, layby parking and newly constructed bike lanes, all which can support a variety of retail uses. Building heights range from 8, 10, 12 and 16 storeys and reflect a transit supportive, pedestrian oriented development.
This community is further supported by two new public parks being 0.437 ha (1.081 acres) in size and the historic Maple GO Station to the immediate west which will currently provides access to the GO Train network providing service between Toronto and Barrie’s waterfront, and in which the service is expected to increase to all-day, two-way service operating at 15-minute intervals during peak hours. York Major worked with builders including Aspen Ridge, Condor Properties and Andrin homes to develop the townhouse units and with Pemberton to deliver the mixed-use residential buildings.
Most recently, York Major facilitated a working relationship with the City of Vaughan and Metrolinx in completing a project which will see the extension of Eagle Rock Way further west to provide more bus pick up and drop off areas, and an integrated access building providing barrier free access and secure bicycle parking to the Maple GO Station facility.

Chelsea Maple Townhomes

The 236 Chelsea Maple Townhomes were the first phase of the overall Chelsea Maple station Community and with support from York Major, construction commenced in 2016 by Aspen Ridge Homes, Condor Properties and Andrin Homes. This modern luxury community is located in Maple, ON between McNaughton Road East and Troon Avenue. Over the last 30 years, the land this community is situated on has developed immensely from both a residential and commercial standpoint. The IndiGO Condominium project represented the first two mid-rise mixed-use buildings of the Chelsea Maple Station community located on the south side of Eagle Rock Way and were built by Pemberton Group in 2016. The GO.2 Condominium project represented the next two mid-rise mixed-use buildings of the Chelsea Maple Station community and are located on the north side of Eagle Rock way immediately opposite the IndiGO Condominium. Similar to IndiGO Condominium, this project consists of two separate condominiums connected by a breezeway at the third level, which provides pedestrian and visual connections between the two public parks withing the community. Richview Manor was developed in 2009 by York Major as a retirement and assisted living facility located in the northeastern portion of the City of Vaughan at the southwest corner of Dufferin Street and Teston Road. York Major with its team of professional consultants submitted applications to amend the Official Plan and Zoning By-law in 2008 and a site plan application in 2009 to develop a six-storey, 137 unit, 12, 588m2 (135,496ft2) with approval being received by the City of Vaughan in 2009. Construction started in 2010 and the doors were opened to residents in 2012.

Northern Transformer
NORTHERN TRANSFORMER
Northern Transformer Corporation is a North American manufacturer of electrical power transformers. Their new Maple, ON manufacturing facility comprises of 125,000 sq. ft. factory space with another 15,000 sq. ft. of office space for engineering and customer support. This project began in 2013 and was completed three years later when Northern Transformer officially opened their Maple office. In 2021, this building took on a large renovation where an additional 15,000 sq ft of space was added. NORTHERN TRANSFORMER CELEBRATES MOVE TO NEW STATE-OF-THE-ART MANUFACTURING FACILITY
MAPLE, ONTARIO – September 23, 2016 – Northern Transformer Corporation, a North American manufacturer of electrical power transformers, celebrated a milestone move to a new, purpose built, 105,000 square foot facility in Maple Ontario on September 16th, 2016.
The opening of the facility marks a major milestone in the vision of Giovanni Marcelli, Chairman of the Board, to build a leading Power Transformer manufacturer. Giovanni initiated the facilities upgrade project after his acquisition of Northern Transformer in 2012. The opening was welcomed with community leaders Steven Del Duca, M.P.P. Minister of Transportation, and Maurizio Bevilacqua, Mayor of Vaughan.
To better serve its growing customer base in Canada and the United States, Northern Transformer Corporation relocated operations and commissioned new, state-of-the-art production and test equipment. The purpose built facility and equipment investments significantly increase Northern Transformers production capability, capacity and efficiency.
Northern Transformer has made a corresponding investment in hiring additional production, engineering and support teams to meet the growing demand for its custom engineered and manufactured power transformers.
